about

Born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Erika Tormos began her academic journey in biotechnology at the University of Puerto Rico in 2007. However, at 21, her creative spirit led her to pivot, leaving her studies to explore the worlds of art and business.

From a young age, Erika was drawn to design, technology, and visual arts. A self-taught graphic designer, she launched her first ready-to-wear brand, Boys Society, in 2016, inspired by her son, Iker. With production based in Lima, Peru, this marked the beginning of her career in fashion.

In 2017, she received three nominations from Caribbean Business in the POWER 100 categories for executives, brands, and companies in Puerto Rico. That same year, she expanded her portfolio, creating exclusive pieces and upcycled designs for renowned Latin artists such as Ozuna and Lunay.

In 2018, Erika pursued formal training in fashion design at Centromoda Design School in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Her graduate collection won the Cutting and Tailoring Award in 2020.

In 2021, she refined her expertise at The Fashion Fit Studio, a high-fashion incubator in Mexico City and Barcelona, specializing in couture corsetry and draping techniques.

By 2022, she established her private design studio in San Juan. Today, her work inspires private clients and high-profile collaborations in the entertainment industry, reflecting a vision of fashion that transcends the spotlight.
